Chloe Gilder is the communications intern for the RIPE project, who will be working alongside Communications Manager and Digital Media Communications Specialist Allie Arp and Amanda Nguyen, respectively, for the 2022 Fall semester. Chloe is an undergraduate student in her third year at the University of Illinois, majoring in integrative biology. As part of the RIPE "More than an internship" mentorship program that was awarded by the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology, Chloe will be gaining science communication experience by writing articles about RIPE research and implementing a social media campaign, while collaborating with RIPE researchers to share their work.
