Luke Freyfogle was a field research specialist at the University of Illinois in the lab of Lisa Ainsworth. Luke's research focused on optimizing photosynthesis at the canopy level to increase carbon uptake in soybean and cowpea. For the RIPE project, Luke assisted Anthony Digrado with data collection, management, and harvest of soybean and cowpea experiments. Luke earned his bachelor's degree in biology at DePauw University.
