Ingrid Robertson is a plant physiologist research technician at Lancaster University. For the RIPE project, she is measuring cowpea's physiological responses to light and shade as a means to increases photosynthetic efficiency. Ingrid earned her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Edinburgh and went on to earn her doctorate at the University of Sheffield where she studied the phosphorus composition of soil and plant uptake dynamics. Previously, she was a research technician for the Chickpea Root Project at the University of Edinburgh where she used her skills in plant and soil analysis.
