Justin McGrath| | University of Illinois
Justin McGrath is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois. Justin received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Bradley University and his doctorate in plant biology at the University of Illinois. His work has been published in Plant Physiology and other journals. Justin has experience in plant physiology and climate change, and has worked at SoyFACE and AspenFACE researching the effects of elevated carbon dioxide and ozone on plant physiology. He has also used statistical models to examine the effects of elevated carbon dioxide on historical yields and nutritional quality of crops in the US. Currently, he is developing a dynamical model of carbon diffusion in leaves to identity areas of photosynthesis that can be improved.
