Johannes (Wanne) Kromdijk| | University of Cambridge
Johannes (Wanne) Kromdijk is a university lecturer at the University of Cambridge, exploring the dynamic limitations of C3 and C4 photosynthesis and coordination of carbon dioxide uptake and water loss in plants. As a plant physiologist, he specializes in carbon dioxide fixation and stable isotope discrimination. He has previously looked at photosynthetic efficiency in C4 grass species maize and Miscanthus x giganteus. He earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in plant sciences from Wageningen University and received his doctorate from the University of Cambridge. His work has been published in Plant Physiology, Plant, Cell and Environment as well as the Journal of Experimental Botany.
