Qingfeng Song is a staff scientist with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research looks at canopy photosynthesis on current and future climates. His current work looks to build the canopy photosynthesis model combined with leaf-level photosynthetic properties and to identify and characterize the advantage of lower chlorophyll canopies through computer simulations and experiments. Qingfeng earned his bachelor's degree in bioinformatics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and his doctorate from the Chinese Academy of Sciences - Max Planck Society. His work is published in Bioinformatics, Current Opinion in Plant Biology, and Functional Plant Biology.
