Lynn Doran is a research technician at the University of Illinois in the Ainsworth Lab. Her research focuses on translating findings from RIPE research into crops to increase food production. For the RIPE project, Lynn will be performing molecular phenotyping of transgenic plants, which involves verifying the presence of transgenes and assessing the levels of their products during greenhouse and field experiments. Lynn received her bachelor's degrees in animal science at Colorado State University and her master's degree in crop science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
