Tory Clarke| | Australian National University
Victoria (Tory) Clarke is a postdoctoral researcher at The Australian National University and one of the project's first elected ambassadors, who represents the project's Early Career Researchers on the RIPE Executive Committee. Her research aims to increase the capacity for plants to acquire resources, such as carbon dioxide, which will boost yields through the increase in photosynthetic activity in crops. For the RIPE project, Tory will be focusing on membrane transport processes. She earned her bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the University of Tasmania. Tory went on to earn her doctorate in plant molecular biology from the University of Sydney. Her work is published in many peer-reviewed journals, including Molecular and Cellular Proteomics, Planta and Frontiers in Plant Science.
