Anthony Digrado is a postdoctoral researcher at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) with the Global Change and Photosynthesis Research Unit at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on optimizing plant's canopy and architectural traits in order to improve carbon uptake at the canopy scale. For the RIPE project, he will assess the existing diversity in architectural traits among different accessions of soybeans and cowpeas and study how different canopy architecture impacts the carbon uptake at the canopy scale. Anthony earned his bachelor's degree in bioengineering and earned his master's degree in agricultural bioengineering from the University of Liege, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech. He went on to earn his doctorate in agronomy and bioengineering from the University of Liege, Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech. His work is published in Physiologia Plantarum and Frontiers in Plant Science
