| | University of California, BerkeleyDhruv Patel-Tupper is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on understanding photoprotection and molecular repair from high-light damage in plants and algae. For the RIPE project, he will be manipulating known and identifying new factors in photoinhibition (ql) to improve high-light tolerance and photosynthetic efficiency in crops. Dhruv earned his doctorate in plant biology from Berkeley and his bachelor's degree in plant and biological sciences from Cornell University. His work has been published in Plant Physiology.
