Manwinder Singh Brar is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois in the Leakey Lab. For the RIPE project, he investigates how to improve the water-use efficiency of plants by manipulating stomatal conductance. Manwinder earned his bachelors degree in Agriculture, Plant Genetics, and Biotechnology from Punjab Agricultural University, and his doctorate degree in Plant Genetics from Clemson University. His research has been published in The Plant Cell and The Plant Genome
