Dilkaran Singh is a graduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His work involves improving mathematical models to simulate biological processes. For the RIPE project, he is using ground truth data from soybean plants to test the accuracy of existing models. Singh received his bachelor’s degree in plant biotechnology at Punjab Agricultural University and his master’s degree at South Dakota State University. His work has been published in Theoretical and Applied Genetics, Frontiers in Genetics, and Journal of Cereal Research.
