Stuart Fisk
| | University of EssexStuart Fisk was a postdoctoral researcher on the RIPE Project at the University of Essex. His research focuses on the modification of pathways used in the production of sugars, vitamins, etc. in plants. For the RIPE project, Stuart researched vitamin B metabolism, photosynthesis, and carbon metabolism. He identified how changes alter the allocation of resources the plant has available and how this characteristic alters growth. Stuart earned his bachelor's degree in genetics and went on to earn his doctorate in the effect of increased plastid transketolase expression on vitamin B metabolism. His work is published in Plant Cell and Plant Biotechnology Journal.
