Lea Claflin is a research technician at the Crop Transformation Facility at the University of Illinois. For RIPE, Lea will be helping to transform and regenerate soybean and tobacco. Lea is a recent graduate of SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry, having earned a bachelor's degree in biotechnology with a focus in plants and a minor in environmental biology.
