Baxter Massey was a technical officer at The Australian National University. He conducted some of the core laboratory experiments for our work on Algal Mechanisms. He also worked with cloning, with the ultimate goal to improve crops in order to reduce global food shortage. His work has been published in several journals including Frontiers in Plant Science, Journal of Vector Ecology, and Archives of Virology. Massey received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He then went on to earn his doctorate in plant molecular biology at the University of Queensland, Australia.
