Jessica Fowler was a research technician at the University of Illinois in the lab of Don Ort. Her research focuses on improving the regulation of Rubisco activity. For the RIPE project, Jessica brought her background in ecology and geographic information systems to help postdoctoral researchers increase the efficiency of crop growth by improving photosynthesis. Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in environmental science at Point Loma Nazarene University and later earned her master’s degree in biology from Illinois State University.
