Joao Antonio Siqueira is a postdoctoral researcher at Lancaster University, primarily focused on Rubisco regulation in endogenous and exogenous oscillations. Within the RIPE project, Joao's work includes improving Rubisco and assessing the biochemistry of proteins and metabolites related to Rubisco carboxylation. He has also worked on modeling photosynthesis, photorespiratory bypass, RUBP regeneration, and much more in his career. Joao earned his bachelor's degree in Agronomy at The University of Lavras and his master's degree and Doctorate in Plant Physiology at Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Then, he did a postdoc in plant immunity at Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture at the University of São Paulo. Throughout his time doing research, Joao has had his work published in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Hazardous Materials, Plant Communications, and Trends in Plant Science.
