Loraine Rourke is a technical officer with The Australian National University. Her research expertise is in molecular biology, and her work for the RIPE project focused on carbon dioxide acquisition by cyanobacteria and plants. She is also interested in the impact of climate change on plants and engineering crops that use less water. Loraine graduated with a bachelor's degree in medical and applied biotechnology from Charles Stuart University.
