Samuel Taylor is a Lectuer in Plant Science at Lancaster University. He is an expert in measuring photosynthesis in dynamic conditions and is interested in how we can speed up plant responses to changes in sunlight. Sam earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and went on to earn a doctorate in biology at the University of York. He began exploring environmental plant physiology as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield and the University of Texas at Austin. His work has been published in Philosophical Transactions of The Royal Society B, New Phytologist, and Plant, Cell & Environment.
