Rosa Maria Cossu was a postdoctoral researcher at Liverpool John Moores University. She has extensive experience in bioinformatics and structural and functional genomics. As part of the RIPE project, she characterized the expression of different genes involved in photosynthesis across a range of species. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental sciences as well as a doctorate from the University of Pisa in Italy. Her work has been published in many notable journals, including Nature Genetics, Genome Biology, and Evolution.
