Shuyue Wang was a graduate student in the lab of Xinguag Zhu at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She worked on the RIPE project's efforts to model photosynthesis and graduated in 2017. Before joining the RIPE project, she earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China, and her master's degree, also in mathematics, from the University of Houston. Her work is published in Plant, Cell & Environment and Quantitative Biology.
