Lynn Doran is a research technician at the University of Illinois in the Long Lab, where she will be working with Steven Burgess. Her research forcuses on translating findings from RIPE research into crops to increase food production. For the RIPE project, Lynn will be performing molecular phenotyping of transgenic plants, which involves verifying the presence of transgenes and assessing the levels of their products during greenhouse and field experiments. Lynn received her bachelor's degrees in animal science at Colorado State University.
