Casey Kramer is a research technician at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Within the RIPE project, Kramer focuses on optimizing canopies. She develops soybean and cowpea lines with improved light profiles and greater photosynthetic potential. Kramer’s contributions to the project include managing field plots, monitoring leaf anatomical characteristics, conducting physiological and molecular measurements, and maintaining/processing experimental records. She received her bachelor's in plant biotechnology from Illinois.
